MCUs also provides all the tools needed actually program a The course itself is actually split into 2 main sections - the first concentrates the basics of C programming and makes use of a unique Virtual C PICmicro microcontroller which allows students execute code step-by-step and see how internal variables and I/O lines are affected. The second section develops students' skills further through 9 project tutorials, each of which has up to 15 subsections, which concentrate on PICmicro programming in C. Throughout the course students are presented with a wide range of examples and challenges. The course includes a fully functional, high-specification C compiler and Integrated Development and Arizona Microchip's MPLAB suite of software.
